Biography
Marco Fischer is a Swiss-based artist working with photography and digital art. He began his creative practice as a photographer, and his long experience behind the camera continues to shape his work. Over time, he expanded his practice into digital art as a way to further develop photographic images rather than replace them.
Using photographic material derived from natural subjects, Marco creates carefully constructed images that focus on balance, structure, and precision. His approach is direct and considered, resulting in works that stay close to their photographic origins while subtly refining the final visual outcome.
Artist Statement
I work with natural materials such as butterflies, feathers, and flowers. My practice centers on isolating, combining, and transforming these elements into carefully composed images.
I am drawn to lightness, color, and small details that often go unnoticed. By enlarging and recontextualizing each subject, I seek to reveal its inherent beauty, structure, and balance. The resulting works invite quiet observation and encourage a slower way of seeing, offering space for contemplation beyond the immediate visual impression.
